Barranquilla was the scene of transformation with the event "Councilman for a Day", an initiative where 21 young people became protagonists, contributing fresh ideas and innovative visions for the city.
During this event, each participant had the opportunity to put themselves in the shoes of a councilman, explore how local government works and propose concrete solutions to the community's challenges. Together with Councilmans, aldermen and JCI Atlantico, constructive dialogues were created and bridges were built towards a more inclusive and participatory future.
The energy and enthusiasm of these young people showed that youth are ready to lead and contribute to the development of Barranquilla. Events like this remind us that change begins when we dare to imagine a better future and work together to make it a reality.
